Sherri Bair

Background:
Sherri is a mother of five and a grandmother of 19. She has lived in Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Arkansas, South Dakota and now resides in sunny Arizona where she never has to shovel snow. Sherri was married for 40 years until her husband passed away from cancer. At this stage of life she treasures Sunday family dinners and watching her grandchildren participate in volleyball, football, soccer, and baseball. Long walks and good books are two of her favorite coping skills.
Education and Work Experience:
Sherri completed a BS in Human Development and Family Studies, an MS in Child and Family Studies and an MS in Community Mental Health Counseling. Sherri has experience teaching and counseling all ages and stages of life. She has worked with birth mothers placing children for adoption, rape and domestic violence survivors, and DBT groups. She has also counseled individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, divorce, grief and loss, and relationship struggles. Sherri is passionate about healthy marriages and families and loves to work with clients as they go through life stages and transitions.

Sherri enjoys helping clients identify their strengths, clarify their values, understand what is most important to them, and see and consider multiple options so they can make the best choices for their life and situation.

Helping clients make better decisions and gain control over their lives by focusing on what they can do now rather than blaming others or dwelling on the past.
Solution Focused Brief Therapy
Helping clients identify what works, set specific goals, and build on existing strengths to create positive change—often in just a few sessions.
